About Jason Shaw

Jason Shaw is the Co-Founder of Code Green.  Jason is from a family of builders and began his career as a ‘pen and ink’ Architectural Technician and then, after further education, practising as a Building Surveyor. He has worked with private Architectural Practices, Developers, Local Authorities and RSLs. Jason decided to enter the Social Housing sector as he found it more challenging and enjoyable meeting the forever demanding improvements and worked within both Asset Management and Development Sectors.

Jason developed his career and experiences as a project and Technical Manager and in that time qualified as a Licensed EcoHomes Assessor. A competent OCDEA SAP and NDEA iSBEM Energy Assessor, his understanding can be invaluable when advising on Energy Performance, whole life costs and improving BREEAM Assessments.

Jason has continued to expand his experience and qualifications being the lead Code for Sustainable Homes assessor for the company and has recently become licensed in both BREEAM Communities and Commercial (Office, Retail & Industrial) and Passivhaus. He is committed to promoting awareness of environmental issues with a commercially sensitive approach.
