Jason Shaw is from a family of builders and began his career as a ‘pen and ink’ Architectural Technician and quickly practised as a Building Surveyor after Further Education. Jason has worked with private Architectural Practices, Developers, Local Authorities and RSLs. Jason decided to enter the Social Housing sector as he found it more challenging and enjoyable meeting the forever demanding improvements and worked within both Asset Management and Development Sectors. Jason developed his career and experiences as a Project and Technical Manager and in that time qualified as a Licensed EcoHomes Assessor. Jason has continued to expand his experience and qualifications and is committed to promoting awareness of environmental issues with a commercially sensitive approach. A competent OCDEA SAP and NDEA iSBEM Energy Assessor, his understanding can be invaluable when advising on Energy Performance, whole life costs and improving BREEAM Assessments. Jason founded Eco2 Home Assessments and has subsequently joined with Clare Howe to provide a full consultancy service that includes BREEAM Assessments and Energy Services. Clare Howe is a fully licensed BREEAM Assessor, LEED Accredited Practitioner, Construction Ambassador for CITB Construction Skills, is on the committee for the East Midlands CIOB as well as the Forum for the Built Environment and is the current Chair of the IEMA Midlands Steering Group. Clare’s background is in construction, having joining the industry in 1996 with insulation supplier FGF before moving to Willmott Dixon and progressing through the ranks to become Environmental Manager for the Midlands and North region. Clare, a Chartered Environmentalist, founded Corporation Green Ltd to help the Industry meet its obligations and move toward a more sustainable future. "The industry is ever changing; new requirements are placed on project teams on a daily basis but very little is passed on in terms of resources or know-how". Corporation Green is now a trading name of Code Green Ltd, an environmental consultancy formed as an amalgamation of Corporation Green Ltd and Eco2 HA.
